Hon Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, left the island over the weekend on an official visit to the republic of Azerbaijan.
The purpose of the visit is to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, agricultural development, tourism, education and to explore ways in which the two countries can cooperate at the multilateral level.
During his visit, the Dominica leader will hold discussions with the country’s Prime Minster, President, Minister for Economic Development and Deputy Foreign Minister.
Prime Minister Skerrit will use the occasion to visit the Republic of Turkey. He is accompanied by Ambassador to the United Nations, His Excellency Vince Henderson.
The Dominica leader returns to the island on august 14. In his absence, Rayburn Blackmoore is acting Prime Minister. |
